Eboni C.★★★★★2025-03-14I first called this office on February 25th, 2025 to see if I can be seen by Dr. Almandoz at the weight wellness clinic because I heard such good reviews about his work. I was told that I would need a referral. A couple of days later I sent over a referral, only to be told that it needs to be specifically for weight loss. A couple of days later, I had a new referral sent over specifically for weight loss. I followed up a few days later again, only to be told that my referral was denied because it needs to come from a PCP, in order for my insurance to cover it. I then had my PCP (a second doctor) to send over the referral. I again followed up a few days later to be told that the office has not received a referral yet. I informed them that I was able to see that the referral was sent over in MyChart. I was then put on hold and someone came back to say that they have put the referral in, and I will be contacted soon for an appointment. A few more days went by and I decided to follow up since I had not been contacted for an appointment and I was told that my referral was denied a 3rd time due to capacity management. I asked to speak with a supervisor because the information has been al
Mariam A.★★★★★2024-04-15I called this office a couple of weeks back to see if Dr. Almandoz was accepting new patients, and was told (wish I had gotten her name, but sadly didn't) that he is, but requires a referral from the PCP. I went through the trouble of going through my PCP, etc to get this referral. When I haven't heard from this office after about a week after the referral was sent, I thought I'd call for update. It was then I was told that Dr. Almandoz is at capacity and was not accepting any new patients. I told this lady (different from the one I spoke to the first time I called the office) that I was told differently a mere two weeks ago. This lady said that she wasn't sure what that person said, but they have been at capacity since Nov/Dec. I was obviously annoyed and disappointed. But if the front office has such poor communication amongst each other, and are so unorganized, maybe it was for the best I didn't see this doctor.
Patsy R.★★★★★2023-07-24I just really like the staff and Dr Almondoz along with his nutritionist. Everyone treated me with so much care.

Retatrutide is Eli Lilly's investigational once-weekly triple agonist (GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptors). Five Phase 3 trials have reported positive results, and Lilly plans to submit it to the FDA in Q1 2027. It is not FDA-approved, has no brand name or price, and cannot be prescribed outside clinical trials or Lilly's physician-requested expanded access program. Products sold online as "research" or compounded retatrutide are not legitimate retatrutide.
Next milestone: TRIUMPH-5 head-to-head vs tirzepatide results (Expected ~Dec 2026)
