My first experience was not as I expected. I had my first appointment last Wednesday,I have not being able to get my medication due to lack of communication from the office with my insurance. My insurance called and sent a form to be filled by the doctor to authorize the med and give them the diagnosis,I had called several times my self and also left a message no response. I feel so overwhelmed .This is neglect of patient who is in desperate need for medication .If you were referred to this place just find another provider.

I am a new pt of Dr. Akhrass. I have seen him once so far, & have an appt coming up soon. Immediately I noticed he is very serious about his pt’s for the fact that he got right to it and that really just felt right, because I have been dealing with hyperthyroidism for the past two years that I found out about it and nothings really been done with many other endos I’ve seen and Dr Akhrass just immediately ordered all these different tests no other endo had ever ordered for me so that was a relief and felt hopeful right away, but he did give me his opinion on what he thinks would benefit me, he didn’t rush me, He didn’t feel pushy and I really appreciated that I feel so hopeful for my future health.

He listens and replys in layman's English. He is very knowledgeable in all kinds of endocrine issues. I recommend him and his very professional staff highly. He approached my sweating and night sweats driving me crazy, by prescribing me" Veozah", an older medicine used for those symptoms, when that medicine did not work after quite sometime, he offered me to try a brand new medicine, just recently approved by FDA, it had showed to help with the same problem I have been having. He sent in the proper paperwork to my pharmacy, who then got it approved from my insurance company, It has a steep co pay, but nothing to the relief, I almost instantly got from this new medicine. I now sleep through the night. No further day over, soaking sweats nor soaking my self, linen every night. This medicine is awesome.
